Earthquake hit 30 km south from Kelbajar town in Azerbaijan

On December 21, at 03:01 local time (GMT+4 hours) the Seismological Network of the Territorial Seismic Protection Service of the MIA of RA registered an earthquake of magnitude 4.5 and 10 kilometers deep with the geographic coordinates 39․83⁰ N latitude and 46.04⁰ E longitude on 30 km south from Kelbajar town in Azerbaijan.

The intensity of the earthquake in the epicenter was VI.

The earthquake was felt in Jermuk town with the intensity of IV-V, in a number of settlements in Vayots Dzor province with the intensity of II-IV and in settlements in Syunik province with the intensity of II-III.
