On July 12, at 11:08 an emergency call was received to Syunik Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred near Baghaberd district in Kapan town: there was a casualty.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Recue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that "VAZ 2121" and "VAZ 2106" cars collided: there was a stuck citizen.

The driver of "VAZ 2121" car was pulled out of the car and transferred to the medical center.

The rescuers blocked off the scene, disconnected the automotive batteries, closed the gas valves of the cars, with special equipment pulled the driver of "VAZ 2106" car out of the car and moved to the ambulance: the latter died.

The rescuers implemented road-cleaning up activities.
