Yerevan Rescue Department summarizes the results of the events held in November

Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of RA, in accordance with the work plan for November, conducted a series of special tactical drills and lectures aimed at developing skills and knowledge for acting in emergency situations.

In particular, special tactical exercises were held at schools No. 113, 146, and 171, and kindergartens No. 51, 58, and 125 in Yerevan city on "Organization of measures to protect personnel and students in the event of an enemy airstrike", "Rules of conduct for the population during an earthquake" and "Organization of population evacuation." The goal of these exercises was to impart new knowledge on behavioral guidelines to participants and improve their practical skills and abilities in emergency situations.

Highlighting the importance of fire safety, preventing potential fires, reducing the risks of their occurrence, and limiting the spread of dangerous fire factors, special tactical drills on "Organization and implementation of firefighting operations" were conducted at the "Disinfection center" CJSC, the "Child protection center" Foundation of the Armenian Relief Fund, "Sophia" supermarket, and schools No. 93, 170, and 188 in Yerevan city. Additionally, a seminar on "Employees' skills and abilities in fire situations" was held at "IPSC" LLC.

The aim of these exercises was to promote the development of tactical thinking among the command staff, improve the management of forces and resources during fires, enhance the practical skills of commanders of operational units, assess the preparedness level of fire units, and develop cooperation between responding forces and teams. A total of 4,628 participants were involved in these events.

Emphasizing the necessity of such activities, these will continue on a regular basis, playing a key role in improving safety levels and reducing risks in emergency situations.
