The Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs conducted training exercises with the aim of increasing the participants' preparedness in emergency situations in October at various educational institutions, as well as at a number of state and private organizations and medical institutions in the capital.

Both special tactical and objective exercises were organized and conducted: the main emphasis was placed on the rules of proper behavior in the event of an earthquake and fire, quick and safe evacuation, as well as coordinated actions, while at the same time organizing warning, shelter and defensive measures in case of an enemy attack.

During the events, participants practically developed the correct response steps in emergency situations: evacuation, shelter, as well as basic first aid actions were implemented.

The events had greatly contributed to raising awareness among participants, forming a culture of safety and a responsible attitude towards one's own life, health and surroundings.

Special attention was also paid to developing skills to avoid panic situations.

Such educational exercises are ongoing, aimed at developing the population's preparedness, improving cooperation between different services and ensuring a more effective response during emergency situations.
