Yerevan Rescue Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs summarized the events implemented in September, which were aimed at increasing the professional training of personnel, the level of awareness of the population and the development of skills in emergency situations.

In a number of schools in the capital, rescuers conducted seminar-lectures on the activity of rescuers, accidents and safety rules, within the framework of which the participants had the opportunity to get acquainted with the peculiarities of the professional activities of rescuers, learn to correctly and quickly orient themselves in emergency situations, as well as master elementary, but life-saving rules of conduct.

The special tactical training exercises in order to prevent emergency situations, increase the level of population safety and develop organized response capabilities were also held in various schools, preschool educational institutions and commercial organizations on "Organization of personnel and pupils protection in case of an earthquake", "Organization and implementation of firefighting operations", "Warning, evacuation, shelter in case of an enemy attack". Conducting such exercises allows developing quick response steps in practical conditions, testing various evacuation and protection mechanisms, as well as forming the awareness and rules of conduct that may be of great importance in a real danger.

The toptable exercise on "Organization and implementation of actions of the company and state management system bodies in case of fire" was held at "Armenia" International Airports CJSC. The choice of the topic itself emphasized the importance of the exercise, as the goal was to ensure joint, coordinated and effective organization of the actions of the airport and state administration bodies in case of a fire, increasing the speed of response and reducing damage and risks.

An object exercise on “Organization of personnel protection measures in case of a sudden attack by the enemy” was organized and conducted at “National Center for Mental Health Protection” CJSC. The main goal of the exercise was to ensure the awareness and practical readiness of the staff of the center in case of a sudden attack by the enemy. It was aimed at effectively developing the sequence of actions for organizing personnel protection measures, the ability to respond quickly, comply with safety rules, as well as improving the capabilities of the involved persons to act systematically and correctly in an emergency.

Such ongoing initiatives are of significant importance in strengthening the preparedness of both the population and the responsible services and in forming effective cooperation in emergency situations.
