According to the work plan for the month of October, Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MIA of RA conducted special-tactical, staff training, objective exercises, seminars and lectures aimed at developing the skills in emergency situations and forming the knowledge of the participants.

Emphasizing the importance of preparedness and awareness among the population in case of an earthquake, special tactical exercises  on "Organization of staff and pupils protection in case of a strong earthquake," "Rules of behavior for the population during an earthquake," and "Organization of population evacuation" were conducted in the school No. 153, kindergartens No. 103 and No. 96, school No. 130 and kindergarten No. 47, respectively. Lectures on these topics were also held at schools No. 92, No. 112, No. 113, No. 162, No. 179, No. 190, and No. 191. Additionally, a special tactical exercise on "Organization of protective measures for staff and pupils in case of fire" was conducted in the school No. 6.

The special tactical training on "Organization of personnel and student protection measures in case of an enemy air attack" were organized and held in schools No. 79 and No. 157. Objective exercises on the same topic were carried out at "National Body of Standardization and Metrology" CJSC, "Republican Institute of Reproductive Health", "Muratsan" hospital complex, school No. 14, as well as the staff training at the staff of "Nork-Marash" administrative district. Moreover, an objective exercise  on "Organization of protection of personnel and visitors in case of a strong earthquake" was held in "Sebastia HC".

Special tactical training on "Organization and implementation of firefighting operations" was held in "Metronom" shopping center in order to improve cooperation between the responding forces, practical skills and tactical thinking of the command staff during the implementation of firefighting operations.

Command training exercises on "The order of creation, preparation and operation of civil defense units" and "Implementation of CD measures in case of threat of attack by the enemy and after the attack" was held with the Heads of the CD services headquarters in the Yerevan Municipality.

A total of 6248 participants actively participated in the events.

Such events conducted  by the Rescue Service are permanent, with the aim of providing the participants with the necessary knowledge, developing the skills to act quickly and efficiently in emergency situations and ensuring the highest level of preparedness to respond to possible dangers.
