On February 20, at 10:00, information was received to Aragatsotn Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred in Ujan village: there were casualties.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

It turned out that at the 37th kilometer of Yerevan-Gyumri roadway, “Iveco” truck (driver S. O. born in 1960) and “Volkswagen” car (driver Gh. B. born in 1960) had collided: the cars ran off the roadway.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the passengers A. B. (born in 1981), L. G. (born in 1983) and V. A. (born in 1980) of “Volkswagen” car had been taken to a medical center.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery and closed the gas cylinder valve of “Volkswagen” car.
