On February 24, at 13:57 information was received to Syunik Regional Crisis Management Center that traffic jams had occurred in the section called “Satani Kamurj” from Shinuhayr crossroad: the roadway became closed in both directions.

The operative group, one fire unit and one fire unit from Shinuhayr emergency point from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

As a result of traffic regulation by rescue workers and police patrol officers, the roadway became two-way traffic.

The rescuers pulled out 770 vehicles (210 of which are trucks and 560 are passenger cars).

The roadway became one-way. Duty had been established by Shinuhayr emergency point.
