From October 16 to 18, the working group led by the Deputy Director of the Rescue Service of MIA, r/s Colonel Yegor Karapetyan was in Lori Regional Rescue Department in order to provide methodological and professional assistance.
The working group included relevant specialists from the structural departments of RS. According to the specified directions, they carried out studies and also held a course with the subordinate staff.
During the visit, the RS Deputy Director of MIA conducted a drill inspection, during which the proper appearance of the personnel was checked, compliance with uniform regulations, the availability of necessary documents and service IDs and overall preparedness. Additionally, emphasizing the importance of emergency backpacks, the compliance of their contents with established requirements was also checked. The mobile hydrometric station was also observed and tested.
During the visit, the working group was also in the Fire and Rescue Squads of the Lory Regional Rescue Department, where they familiarized themselves with the operational readiness and condition of firefighting equipment and supplies, declared a training warning and observed the firefighting and combat readiness conducted by the teams on-site.
The working meeting was held in the Regional Rescue Department, during which the completed activity was summarized and the Deputy Director was presented with the results and progress of the activities of the department, several issues related to the department operations were also discussed. The process of addressing and eliminating previously identified shortcomings and issues was also reviewed, as well as new challenges and issues were highlighted.
Colonel Karapetyan gave clear instructions and recommendations in order to organize the service more systematically, efficiently and promptly.
Additionally, the working group also carried out night inspections within the framework of the visit, during which the state of combat commitment of the rescuers was checked.
Highlighting the work of providing professional and methodical assistance in regional units, similar inspection visits are permanent.
