Working consultation at the Rescue Service of MIA
On December 12, a working consultation was held led by the Director of RS-Deputy Minister of IA, r/s Lieutenant General Kamo Tsutsulyan. The meeting was attended by the Deputy Directors and Assistant to the Director of the Rescue Service, as well as the heads of structural and regional departments.
During the meeting, the Director emphasized the importance of active cooperation between the emergency response units of the Rescue Service, the patrol service of the Police of the MIA and the Road Department of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure. He stressed that providing timely and adequate assistance to citizens is one of the key priorities of the Rescue Service of MIA.
Heads of the departments presented reports, outlining the ongoing activity, the progress of task implementation and the measures taken. They also noted that the personnel are ready to conduct the tasks assigned to them.
After listening to the current reports, K. Tsutsulyan pointed out the shortcomings and gaps that had emerged during the activities. He instructed the heads of the departments to put in maximum effort to address the identified issues and find solutions.
Director of the Rescue Service specifically emphasized the importance of preventive measures. He instructed the heads of the Regional Rescue Departments to conduct patrols on the roads of the country, particularly those with complex terrain, to ensure a more effective and timely response to accidents and to guarantee the safety of citizens. Additionally, he directed that, if necessary, temporary first aid stations should be set up.
Director of the Rescue Service instructed that constant attention be paid to the operational condition of hydrants in the service areas, as well as to the state of shelters in the basements of buildings and structures, in cooperation with the relevant authorities.
At the conclusion of the meeting, K. Tsutsulyan addressed issues related to the discipline and ethics of the rescuers. He urged the heads of the departments to carry out systematic activity aimed at improving the service, to strictly monitor discipline and to establish oversight over the duties of the personnel. He also gave additional instructions and guidelines.
