On August 14, from 20:00 the emergency calls were received to 112 Operative Management Center of the MIA about strong winds, particularly in Kentron, Nor Nork, Erebuni, Malatia-Sebastia administrative districts of Yerevan city, as well as in Geghakunk and Kotayk provinces.

The wind damaged roofs, metal sheets, electrical wires, cars, felled trees, bent lighting poles and closed roads.

The relevant units of the Rescue Service responded promptly to all accidents.

The fallen trees were cut and removed, torn metal sheets were dismantled, bent poles were dismantled and reinforce them, blocked off the scene and perform other relevant activities on the spot.

Information about the accidents was transmitted to the relevant authorities.
