On July 3, from 21:53 the emergency calls were received to 122 Opertive Management Center of the MIA about the strong winds, particularly in Yerevan city and Tsovak village of Gegharkunik province. 

As a result of the wind, the structures of buildings were damaged, roof sheets weakened, trees fell, electric poles were bent, power lines were torn off and roads were closed.

The relevant units of the Rescue Service responded promptly to all cases.

The fallen trees were cut down, removed, the torn structures were dismantled, the area was demarcated and other relevant activities was conducted at the scene.
