Due to the penetration of a cyclone from the Mediterranean Sea, in most regions of the republic from the afternoon continuing into evening of December 31, on January 1–2 snow is predicted, in separate areas -heavy. In separate areas of the mountainous regions of the republic, the wind speed may reach up to 18–23 m/s, blizzards and low horizontal visibility are predicted. Throughout the republic at night of January 3–4, the air temperature will decrease by 14–18 degrees. In Yerevan in the evening of December 31, on January 1, at night of 2 and in the morning snow is predicted.

 

In the Republic 

In the daytime of January 1, at night and in the morning of 2 in most regions of the republic, in the daytime of 2 in Vayots Dzor and Syunik provinces snow is predicted, in separate regions - heavy. On January 3-6 no precipitation is predicted.

Northwest wind speed is 2-5 m/s, in the daytime of January 1, on 2 in separate parts of mountainous regions wind speeds may reach up to 17-20 m/s, blizzard and low visibility are predicted.

Throughout the republic the air temperature on January 3-4 will decrease by 14-18 degrees.

In Yerevan

In the daytime of January 1, at night and in the morning of 2 snow is predicted. On January 3-6 no precipitation is predicted.
