Water rescuers rushed to help

On July 20, at 15:30 at the 2nd public beach of Lake Sevan, water rescuers on duty noticed two citizens (teenagers) who had drifted about 800 meters from the shore on a pedal boat and were unable to return.

The lifeguards safely brought both the pedal boat and the citizens back to shore.

On July 20, at 15:50 a citizen approached the water rescuers on duty at the 2nd public beach of Lake Sevan, reporting that two individuals had taken a pedal boat out from the shore and had not returned for about 30 minutes. Rescue assistance was required. 

The water rescuers located and safely brought both the pedal boat and the two citizens back to shore.

On July 20, around 18:55 at the 1st public beach of Lake Sevan, water rescuers on duty noticed that a citizen on a motorboat had remained stationary for an extended period about 1.5 km from the shore.

The water rescuers safely brought both the citizen and the motorboat back to shore.
