Wall of a semi-constructed building collapsed: there is a casualty
On August 25, at 21:37 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that the wall of a semi-constructed building had collapsed and fallen on a car due to the wind on Ghapantsyan street of Yerevan city: there was a citizen in the car. The rescuers’ help was needed.
One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Yerevan Rescue Department and the rescue group from Center for Carrying out Activities of Special Importance of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.
It turned out that the wall of the semi-constructed building collapsed on "Mitsubishi" car (driver M. G. born in 1991): the driver died on the spot.
The rescuers and Police patrol officers jointly blocked off the scene.
The rescuers were on duty, took the body of the driver out of the car and brought it closer to the car carrying the body.
The Director of the Rescue Service-Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, r/s Major-General Kamo Tsutsulyan was at the scene.
