On March 25, the subordinate units of the Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs organized and conducted a special tactical training exercise on "Organization and implementation of firefighting operations" in a hotel of Yerevan city.

The purposes of the special tactical training exercise as follows:

•       Educate the hotel staff on fire safety protocols in case of a fire outbreak.
•       Familiarize them with the use of primary firefighting equipment.
•       Enhance participants' preparedness and develop their practical skills.

During the exercise, Rescue Service personnel demonstrated the specifics of using firefighting equipment and participants had the opportunity to practice with them. Additionally, staff evacuation was carried out, including the use of an aerial ladder for upper floors, along with simulated firefighting operations and casualty extraction.

The exercise involved around 150 hotel employees and visitors.

Yerevan Rescue Department will continue organizing similar exercises regularly recognizing the importance of such training sessions and aiming to improve knowledge, emergency response skills and capabilities of the employees.
