On September 7, at 12։21 an emergency call was received to Vayots Dzor Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred near the Herher reservoir: two cars collided and there was a stuck citizen. The rescuers' help was needed.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA was dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that two "VAZ" cars collided (drivers V. V. born in 1961 and G. G. born in 1991) on the 6th km of the roadway leading to Herher village from Yerevan-Meghri roadway: driver V. V. died and the other driver G. G. was stuck in the car. The roadway was two-way closed.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive batteries and valves of the cars, pulled G. G. out of the car with the help of special equipment and moved to the ambulance, pulled the dead body of V. V. out of the car and moved to the mortuary vehicle, then removed the cars from the roadway and implemented it washing actions: the traffic flow was restored.

Casualty G. G. was hospitalized in a medical center, where doctors assessed his health condition as stable and serious.
