On September 19, at 14:34 an emergency call was received to Syunik Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred on Sisian-Tatev roadway: there were casualties. The rescuers’ help was needed.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “Iveco” truck (drivers M. M. N. born in 1982 and H. H. B. born in 1984) turned onto its side on the 28th km of Sisian-Tatev roadway: the drivers got stuck in the salon.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene the drivers had been pulled out of the car by the local forces.

The rescuers blocked off the scene, disconnected the automotive battery of the truck and moved the drivers to the ambulance. The casualties were hospitalized to a medical center where the doctors assessed their health condition as stable.
