Training sessions were conducted for students aimed at the formation and development of a public volunteer rescue mobility

Employees of the Organization for the Firefighting and Rescue Activities Division of Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs organized and conducted training sessions on "Concept of Formation and Development of the Public Volunteer Rescue Mobility in the Republic of Armenia" for 85 student volunteers from the rescue formations of Yerevan State University, the National Polytechnic University of Armenia, and the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia.

As part of the theoretical training sessions, topics such as "Basic Rescue Tools and Devices" and "Safety Rules During Rescue Activities" were also covered. The practical part of the training took place at No. 8 Fire and Rescue Squad of Yerevan Rescue Department.

The purpose of the training was to deepen participants' knowledge in the field of rescue activities, ensure their proper preparedness and enhance the potential of the public volunteer rescue mobility in Armenia.
During the training sessions, students were provided with a detailed introduction to the specifics of using rescue tools, safety regulations and key aspects of organizing effective firefighting and rescue activities. Particular attention was given to time management, risk assessment and the ability to respond quickly in various emergency situations.

This approach not only equips students with theoretical knowledge but also helps them acquire practical skills, preparing them for real-life rescue activities.

The experience gained by the students will be invaluable in ensuring public safety. This initiative represents yet another important step in strengthening the rescue system and promoting a culture of safety.
