On May 30, junior fire and rescuer teams from all regions of Armenia gathered to take part in the national junior rescuers' competition.

The event was attended by the Director of RS- Deputy Minister of IA Kamo Tsutsulyan, the leadership of the Rescue Service, Artashat community leader Karlen Mkrtchyan and others.

Welcoming the participants, Kamo Tsutsulyan emphasized that such events aim to promote the physical development of youth, while also serving as a platform for building and strengthening friendships. The Rescue Service general wished the young rescuers success with the words: “Let friendship be the winner!”

In the competitions, the young rescuers measured their strength in pull-ups on the horizontal bar, push-ups from the floor, relay races, complex exercises and other competitions.
In a stubborn struggle, the young rescuers of Kotayk region won, while the teams of Ararat and Vayots Dzor regions took second and third places, respectively.

The awards were presented to the best by the RS Deputy Director Arsen Mkrtchyan.

More valuable than the victories, medals and awards were the warm and intimate contacts between the young people.

In this mood, the teams said goodbye to each other, expecting a new meeting.
