The Best were awarded on the occasion of Rescuer's Day

On September 4, the Republic of Armenia celebrated Rescuer’s Day, honoring those who stand on the frontline of danger every day saving lives, protecting the safety of the population and serving the homeland with dedication and honor.

On the occasion of the holiday, a number of employees of the Yerevan and Regional Departments of the Rescue Service of MIA of RA were awarded medals, certificates of honor, letters of appreciation, as well as monetary prizes for their conscientious and proper fulfillment of service duties, dedicated and responsible activity, as well as professionalism demonstrated in emergency situations.

Valuing the role of rescuers in ensuring public safety, this year special recognition was given not only to those with long-standing experience but also to the new generation of young rescuers, who have managed to demonstrate their professional preparedness and dedication in a short period of time. A number of rescuers were also granted extraordinary ranks as a token of appreciation for their exceptional activity.

The rescuers were awarded the “Best Rescuers” and “Fearless Rescuer” medals, certificates of honor from the Director of RS–Deputy Minister of IA and letters of appreciation from regional governors. Among the awardees were both long-serving, experienced staff members and young rescuers who managed to prove their professional competence and dedication in a short period of time.

On the occasion of Rescuer’s Day, a number of employees of the Rescue Service were also granted extraordinary ranks.

These initiatives aim to highlight the vital role of rescuers, valuing their mission: to save and protect people whenever needed.
