In order to increase the protection of the population, to transfer information about the disasters characteristic of the province, communities and settlements, as well as to notify and teach on the rules of conduct, the units of the Tavush Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of Ministry of Internal Affairs were carried out a number of activities.

The working group of Tavush RRD participated in the staff training on "Implementation of civil defense measures in case of a sudden attack by the enemy" held in Berd municipality of province with the purpose to check the theoretical abilities of the civil defense leadership of the community in  decision-making on the organization of civil defense measures.

The Ijevan Fire and Rescue Squad organized and held a special tactical training on "Implementation of firefighting operations in case of large forest fires" in the administrative building of Ijevan precinct of of Tavush Regional Department of the Eco-Patrol Service of ME of RA in Tavush province highlighting the readiness check of the organization's leadership in case of a forest fire threat, improving its skills and abilities in preventing emergency situations and reducing and eliminating the consequences, increasing the level of mutual cooperation of participants.

The squad also conducted a special tactical training on "Organization of firefighting and evacuation measures in production facilities" in the sewing factory of Ijevan town.

The working group of the Tavush Medical Center also participated in the objective exercise held at "Ijevan Medical Center" CJSC on "Implementation of civil protection measures in case of a transition from peace to martial law", the aim of which was to improve the theoretical and practical abilities of the staff of the medical center in the case of a transition from peace to martial law.

During the month, exercises on "Implementation of population warning, sheltering and evacuation activities in case of "Air-raid" warning siren" were held in Ayr, Archis, Dovegh, Deghdzavan, Bagratashen of Noyemberyan community and in Artsvaberd of Berd community of Tavush province.

Within the framework of the events, the subordinate units of the Tavush Regional Rescue Department in a number of settlements, recreation areas and crowded places regularly carried out awareness activities on the observance of fire safety rules aimed at preventing the risk of fire occurrence and spread.
