Strengthening population safety: training exercises and awareness training sessions held in the provinces

The Rescue Service periodically organizes special tactical training exercises and awareness sessions in the provinces, with the participation of both employees and citizens in order to increase the level of population protection.

“Safe Entry and Exit” training sessions were held in educational and preschool institutions, as well as practical firefighting and evacuation exercises with the participation of pupils, lecturers and kindergarten staff. In public and economic facilities, such as hotels, bakeries, medical institutions and gas stations, special tactical training exercises on “Organization and implementation of firefighting operations” were organized.

Special tactical training exercises on rescue operations in water areas and operations at fire and explosion-hazardous facilities were also conducted, as well as headquarters training exercises aimed at organizing population protection measures in case of landslides. A fire extinguishing exercise in case of a possible accident in the gas supply system was also implemented, with the joint participation of accident recovery teams and fire and rescue forces.

In parallel, awareness-raising activities were conducted among the population on “Air-raid” warning siren, rules of conduct during floods and dangerous natural phenomena.

After the end of each exercise, a summary was conducted, highlighting the shortcomings observed and giving appropriate recommendations.
