Stuck cars were pulled out and assistance was provided to citizens: the rescuers and police implemented enhanced service on a number of interstate highways in the Republic
The Rescue Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs continues to operate 24/7, promptly responding to any emergency calls from citizens.
On February 27 a number of calls were received at 112 Regional Operative Management Centers of the MIA regarding stuck vehicles and traffic congestion due to heavy snowfall.
As a result of the rapid response of the Rescue Service units, assistance was provided to citizens and stuck cars were pulled out.
Due to weather and poor road conditions, ambulances in the administrative areas of Melikgyugh and Shenkani villages of Aragatsotn province were unable to reach pregnant women to transport them to the hospital. The rescuers managed to safely deliver the women in labor to the ambulances.
It was possible to reduce the results of traffic jams and blockage, as well as to ensure the safe movement of citizens with the joint efforts of the services subordinate to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, local government representatives and employees of "CHANSHIN".
The rescuers and police officers implemented enhanced service on a number of interstate highways of the Republic, ensuring the safety of citizens.
