In order to ensure a safe environment, increase the preparedness of the population and the level of coordination of actions in case of possible emergency situations, the Collective Center of Civil Defense Forces of the Civil Protection Department of the Rescue Service organized and conducted special tactical exercises in Tavush province.

Within the framework of the events, a special tactical exercise on the “Implementation of rescue and firefighting operations during collapse and fire due to a possible attack by enemy air forces” was held at the kindergarten named after Karen Margaryan in Paravakar. The purpose of the exercise was to improve the level of preparedness of the personnel and the involved forces in organizing and implementing rescue and firefighting operations in conditions of collapse and fire caused by a possible attack by enemy air forces.

Another special tactical exercise was held at Voskevan Cultural Center on “Implementation of firefighting and evacuation operations: providing first aid to conditional casualties and removing them to a safe area” which was aimed at improving the interaction of responsible units, effective response, rapid assessment of the situation and development of the right actions.

About 100 participants from border settlements were involved in the exercise.

Such events are ongoing and are an important tool in the path to emergency preparedness. They not only develop the practical skills of the forces involved, but also raise the awareness and preparedness of the population, building confidence in the stability and effectiveness of the security system.
