On May 2, at 15:03 an emergency call was received at the 112 Operational Management Center of the MIA reporting that there was an injured stork on the roadway on Arin Berd Street in Yerevan.

One fire-rescue unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Yerevan Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA was dispatched to the scene. 

Rescuers transported the stork to the fire-rescue department, after which it was transferred to Hrant’s Ark Foundation.
