The Rescue Service informs that some roads are closed in the Republic of Armenia.

The roads leading from “Amberd” high mountain meteorological station to Lake Kari and Amberd fortress are closed.

Berd-Chambarak roadway is closed for all types of vehicles.

Vardenyats pass (snow, blizzard) is closed for trailer trucks and difficult to pass for other type of vehicles.

Spitak turns are closed for trucks.

Black-ice is formed on some places of the roadways of Alagyaz region.

It is snowing in Aragats, Ashtarak, Noyemberyan regions, Dilijan and Spitak turns, Shirak province, Ijevan, Berd, Abovyan and Charentsavan towns.

Blizzard is noticed in Alagyaz region, on Artik-Alagyaz roadway and Shinuhayr-Harzhis road section.

Drivers must drive exclusively with winter tires.
