Some roads are closed and difficult to pass in the Republic of Armenia

The Rescue Service informs that some roads are closed and difficult to pass in the Republic of Armenia.

The road leading from “Amberd” high mountain meteorological station to Lake Kari is closed.

Vardenyats Pass is difficult to pass for all types of vehicles, for trailer trucks- only in case of using tire chains.

Artashavan-Tsilkar roadway is difficult to pass for all types of vehicles.

Spitak turns, Stepanavan-Vanadzor, Vanadzor-Dilijan roadways are difficult to pass for trailer trucks.

It is snowing in Amasia, Talin, Aparan, Aragats regions, Tsilkar village, Vardenyats pass, Dilijan, Gavar, Sisian, Hrazdan towns, Lanjanist, Lusashogh, Lanjar, Yelpin villages and on Saravan-"Zanger", "Meghru sar", "Zanger"-Tsghuk sections.

Black-ice is formed in some places on Gyumri-Bavra roadway, in the section called "Chayni turns" and on the roadways of Syunik province.

Fog is noticed on Yerevan-Sevan roadway, in Ashtarak and Aparan towns, Mayakovski, Balahovit, Jrvezh, Dzoraghbyur villages and in Talin region.

There is a snowstorm on Aparan-Nigavan roadway and in Aragats region.

Drivers are advised to drive solely on winter tires.
