The Rescue Service informs that some roads are closed and difficult to pass in the Republic of Armenia.

The road leading from “Amberd” high mountain meteorological station to Lake Kari is closed.

Artik-Alagyaz and Alagyaz-Tsilkar roadways (there is snowstorm) are closed for trucks.

Vardenyats pass is difficult to pass for trailer trucks.

Black ice is formed on the roadways of the highlands of Syunik province,  of Aragats (there is snowstorm), Aparan regions and on Ashotsk-Bavra roadway,

Drivers are advised to drive solely on winter tires.

According to the information provided by the Department of Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and from the Department of Crisis Management Center of the Republic of North Ossetia of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation, Stepantsminda-Larsi highway is closed for all types of vehicles.
