The Rescue Service informs that some roads are closed and difficult to pass in the Republic of Armenia.

The roads leading from “Amberd” high mountain meteorological station to Lake Kari and Amberd fortress are closed.

Vardenyats pass (black ice) difficult to pass for trailer trucks.

It is snowing in Vardenyats pass, in the section called Saravan-«Zanger», in Jermuk and  Yeghegnadzor towns.

Drivers are advised to drive solely on winter tires.
