On August 10 at 15։43 an emergency call was received to Vayots Dzor Regional Operative Management Center that landslide had occurred on Yeghegis-Hermon roadway: the roadway was closed.

The operative groups from the Fire and Rescue Squad and the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that mudflow occurred at the 12th km of Shatin-Hermon roadway as a result of heavy rain, the roadway was filled with puddles (about 50 cubic meters), as a result it became one-way closed and difficult to pass.

The rescuers blocked off the scene.

The roadway was cleared with the help of special equipment and the traffic flow was restored.
