On February 24, at 12:22 an emergency call was received to Armavir Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred at the crossroad of Shahumyan and Mashtots streets in Armavir town.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

It turned out that “Lexus” (driver A. M. born in 1990) and “BMW” (driver A. Ye., born in 1983) cars had collided, then the latter collided with a gas pipeline pillar, as a result of which the gas pipeline broke and fall onto the car.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the driver of “BMW” car had been hospitalized in a medical center.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive batteries, closed the gas valves of the cars and blocked of the scene.
