On January 2, at 15։57 information was received to Vayots Dzor Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred near the intersection of the roadway leading to the Noravank monastery complex: the rescuers' help was needed.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA was dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that "Mitsubishi" car ran off the roadway and appeared on a roadside slope at the 112th km of Yerevan-Meghri roadway.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, three casualties had been pulled out of the car by the local forces and taken to a medical center.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery and closed the gas valve of the car, and blocked off the scene.
