On July 26, at 19։56 an emergency call was received to Ararat Regional Opertive Management Center that car accident with fire had occurred in Aygavan settlement.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “Toyota”, “VAZ” and “Volkswagen” cars collided, as a result a fire was burning in “Volkswagen” car on the M-2 highway on the bridge connecting Yeghegnavan and Aygavan settlements.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, 4 casualties had been hospitalized.

The fire was localized at 20:13, extinguished at 20:20. The car was burnt, the rescuers found the dead bodies of 3 citizens in the car.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive batteries and closed the gas valve of the cars.
