On December 13, at 09:24 an emergency call was received to Ararat Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred on Kaghtsrashen-Narek roadway: two cars collided. One of the cars caught fire.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “VAZ” (driver E. P. born in 1989) and “Mitsubishi” (driver Z. V. born in 1952) cars collided on the 1st km of Kaghtsrashen-Narek roadawy. The fire broke out in “VAZ” car.

The fire was localized at 09:44 and extinguished at 09:55. The “VAZ” car was burnt.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the passenger of “Mitsubishi” car S. V. (born in 2005) and the driver of “VAZ” car had been taken to medical centers.

The rescuers closed the gas valves of the cars and disconnected automotive battery of “Mitsubishi” car.
