On April 1, at 17:23 an emergency call was received to Ararat Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident with fire had occurred near the checkpoint in Vostan village.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “Toyota” car ran off the roadway and crashed into an electric pole on Azatamartikner Street in Artashat town. The car caught fire.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the driver had been hospitalized in a medical center.

The fire was localized at 17:44 and extinguished at 17:57. The car was burnt.
