On August 21, at 14։14 emergency call was received to Shirak Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred on Artik-Saralanj roadway: there was a casualty and the rescuers’ help was needed.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “BMW” car ran off the roadway, rolled into a ravine and caught fire at the 3rd km of Artik-Saralanj highway.

The driver and passenger were taken out of the car by the local forces. The rescuers moved the passenger to an ambulance: the casualties were hospitalized in a medical center.

The fire was localized at 14:32 and extinguished at 14:53. The car was burnt.
