On December 20, at 12։09 information was received to Aragatsotn Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident with fire had occurred at the crossroads of Ashnak village.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that, cars of the brands “BMW” (driver S. M. born in 1960) and “Mercedes-Benz” (driver G. I. born in 1983) cars collided on the 63rd km of Yerevan-Gyumri roadway. “BMW” car caught fire, there were no casualties.

The fire was localized at 12:28 and extinguished at 12:43. The car was burnt.
