On September 19, at 20։19 an emergency call was received to Lori Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred on Vanadzor-Alaverdi roadway: there were casualties.

One fire unit from Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “Mercedes Benz” and “Vaz” cars collided near the 20th km of Vanadzor-Alaverdi roadway, as a result the roadway was one-way closed.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive batteries and closed the gas valves of the cars and moved drivers of the cars to the ambulance, who were hospitalized at the medical center.

As of September 20, at 02:00 the traffic flow was restored.
