On October 22, at 11:19 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that car accident had occurred at the crossroads of Hnaberd-Geghadzor villages: the cars collided and there were casualties: the rescuers' help was needed.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that "GAZelle" car (driver Z. A. born in 1987) implemented the service on Artik-Yerevan route and "ZIL" truck (driver A. .O. born in 1970) and "Opel" car (driver A. B. born in 1966) collided on the 8th km of Tsaghkahovit-Artik roadway.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the passengers of "GAZelle" car, H. B. (born in 1964), A. M. (born in 1956) and A. A. (born in 1956) had been taken out of the car by the local forces: the latter were hospitalized in a medical center.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive batteries and closed the gas valves of the cars.
