On August 11, at 19։40 an emergency call was received to Crisis Management National Center that car accident had occurred on the roadway from Vanadzor to Spitak: the rescuers’ help was needed.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “Opel” and “VAZ” cars collided near the 6th km of Spitak-Vanadzor roadway.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the drivers and the passenger of “VAZ” car had been taken to a medical center.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive batteries of the cars and closed the gas valve of “Opel” car, as well as washed the road.
