On January 25, at 18:18 an emergency call was received to Vayots Dzor Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred on the highway leading from Jermuk crossroads to Saravan village: there was a casualty. The rescuers' help was needed.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA was dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “Scania” bus and “Mercedes-Benz” car collided at the 149th km of Yerevan-Meghri roadway. The driver of the latter was stuck.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery and closed the gas cylinder valve of “Mercedes-Benz” car, disassembled the car with the help of special equipment, pulled the driver out and moved to the ambulance. The casualty was hospitalized in a medical center.
