On September 25, at 17:59 an emergency call was received to Ararat Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred near the bridge in Shahumyan village: there were casualties. The rescuers’ help was needed.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “Opel” (driver A. A. born in 2002) and “Toyota” (driver N. B. born in 1997) cars collided on the 31st kilometer of the Yerevan-Yeraskh roadway, as a result “Opel” car overturned.

Before the rescuers arrived at the scene, the driver of “Opel” car had been taken out of the car by the local forces, who had been hospitalized in a medical center.

The rescuers disconnected automotive batteries and closed the gas valves of the cars, put “Opel” car back onto its wheels and loaded it to the tow truck.
