On September 2, at 21:54 an emergency call was received to Ararat Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred at the beginning of Tigranashen bends: there were victims. The rescuers' help was needed.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

It turned out that "ZIL" truck (driver A. M. born in 1987) and "Mercedes-Benz" car (driver A. G. born in 1982) cars collided on the 70th km of Yerevan-Yeraskh roadway, as a result the latter's passenger I. G. (born in 2014) died on the spot.

The rescuers pulled the stuck M. G. (born in 1989) and Y. G. (born in 2024) from "Mercedes-Benz" car out, moved the latter and E. G. (born in 2019), A. G. to the ambulance: the casualties were hospitalized in a medical center, where doctors pronounced the death of Y. G. and assessed the health condition of the other casualties as serious.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery of "Mercedes-Benz" car and closed the gas valve of the car.
