On August 12, at 07։29 an emergency call was received to Kotayk Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred on the roadway leading to Charentsavan town: there were casualties.

Two fire units from the Fire and Rescue Squads of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that "Nissan", "Opel" and "Fiat" cars collided on the 34th km of Yerevan-Sevan roadway. 

The rescuers disconnected the automotive batteries and closed the gas valves of the cars, blocked off the scene, moved the dead body of the passenger of “Nissan” car to the mortuary vehicle, the drivers of “Nissan” and “Opel” cars and one passenger to the ambulance. The casualties were hospitalized in medical centers.
