On August 18, at 03:27 an emergency call was received to Kotayk Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred on Yerevan-Sevan roadway: the car crashed into an iron barrier.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “Ford” car ran off the roadway and crashed into an iron barrier separating the road at the 48th km of Yerevan-Sevan roadway. The road one-way closed and the driver died on the spot. 

The rescuers closed the gas cylinder valve of the car, moved the driver's dead body to the mortuary vehicle, removed the iron barriers from the roadway, loaded the car to the tow truck and carried out washing of the road.
