On February 22, at 11:34 an emergency call was received to Kotayk Regional Operative Management Center that car accident had occurred on Yerevan-Sevan roadway: there was a gas leak. The rescuers’ help was needed.

One fire unit from the Fire and Rescue Squad of the Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA was dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “Nissan” and “Volkswagen” cars collided at the 37th km of Yerevan-Sevan roadway, then overturned. There was a fuel leak from “Volkswagen” car. Three citizens were hospitalized in a medical center.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive batteries and closed the gas valves of the cars.
