On August 25, at 23։51 information was received to Gegharkunik Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred at the 50th km of Yerevan-Sevan roadway: there were casualties. The rescuers' help was needed.

One fire unit from Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It was found that "Mercedes-Benz" and "VAZ" cars collided on the 98th km of the Ijevan-Yerevan highway. The latter overturned on the carriageway.

The driver of "VAZ" car and three passengers were taken out of the car and hospitalized in a medical center by the local forces.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery and closed the gas valve of "VAZ" car.
