On August 21, at 00:17 an emergency call was received to Kotayik Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred at the beginning of the section called "Chaini bends" on Yerevan-Sevan roadway: there was a stuck citizen.

The rescue group from Center for Carrying out Activities of Special Importance of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene. 

It turned out that "VAZ" car (driver G. A., born in 1983) ran off the roadway and crashed into the concrete barrier on the roadside on the 23rd km of Yerevan-Sevan roadway: there was a stranded citizen and casualty.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery and closed the gas valve of the car, pulled the stuck driver out and moved to the ambulance. The driver and passenger G. M. (born in 1967) was hospitalized in a medical center.
