On September 9, at 21։52 information was received to Vayots Dzor Regional Crisis Management Center that car accident had occurred on Yerevan-Meghri roadway: there were casualties.

One fire unit from Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of the Rescue Service of the MIA of RA dispatched to the scene.

It turned out that “Jeep” Compass car ran off the roadway (about 30 m) and appeared in a nearby gorge at the 165th km of Yerevan-Meghri roadway.

The rescuers disconnected the automotive battery and closed the gas valve of the car, moved the driver and passenger to the ambulance. The latter were hospitalized at a medical center.
